Irene's quite right. And I reckon her simile is also a far cry from those cold almost un-inviting photos of properties sometimes used by the 'Agencies. And aren't those 'two steps per beat' steps so accommodating; no need to mind them when turning to hail 'Mrs Jones' as she hoots her horn.
How pretty..I can only dream of living in a cottage like that.
Hall Lane near Haigh Hall is a surprisingly rural area in the country just a mile from Wigan town centre.
I wonder what the price of this gaff would be? close to a million I s
would imagine, and to think this is in Wigan, traditionally a working class town renowned for mills, pits, Wigan Pier and poor people. Yet increasingly nowadays certain areas of Wigan like Haigh, Standish and Orrell are becoming retreats exclusively for the more well off of society with their fancy new status symbol Range Rovers and cushy managers jobs.
