Has anyone got a contact number for Frank? I think he still lives in Wigan or nearby. I remember his daughter or daughter in law posting something about him a few years ago on the COMMUNICATE TOPIC

Incredible sportsman. The competition stats show just how advanced he was at his chosen sport. Not everybody understands bodybuilding, each to their own I suppose but for him to compete at that level in that era and be placed and be known throughout the world (mixed with Arnold Schwarzenegger)in that sport, incredible achievement...made even more incredible because of the very serious injuries he suffered on the railways. I bet he has some stories !

The steroids helped a lot too.

I remember this guy inn the late 80's when I was obsessed with BB. I seem to remember he had an accident which left his wrist at an odd angle permanently? He could only do certain exercises from there on but that didn't stop him. Great guy.

i remember when Frank came to do a Q&A at my gym (muscle & fitness gym in swinton) in the late 80's/early 90's and then the following evening was supposed to do a guest posing spot at a competition i organised at the lancastrian hall in swinton but unfortunatly had to cancel as he had been assaulted later that evening whilst working on the doors, he still attended, spoke and brought in a replacement who was due to compete at the same american competition he was due at shortly after, all round great guy, would be nice to catch up with him
