Trying to get my bearings here, Frank. Whereabouts in Higher Ince was this? The buildings are familiar but I am struggling.

It is taken on Rose Bridge looking towards Ince Bar,the BT stores (formerly Alex Wigan,builders) immediately on the left and the Imperial after it.
It doesn’t look like St Williams walking day though,they walked on Whit Sunday.

Thankyou Bill. It may have been Rose Bridge Walking Day. I walked with them a couple of times.

The pub on the left was the Imperial Arms.

It was named the Imperial Hotel,but known as Thimp to proper Incers.
