I wonder if this is the Woodfield School at Whiteley, near St Clements Road ? It looks like the old house I remember. I went there for a short time in the 1940s.

Yes Helen it is. The old building was demolished unfortunately. I went there in the '50's

Hi Graham, no I'm not a Woodfield lad, a St Michaels lad I was. Billy lives somewhere near what was the Bleachworks in Standish.
