Tom, I have not seen this picture before, but it reminds me
of my time with Ribble in the late 1960s. Occasionally, if
a coach from the "Wilts & Dorset" fleet on a Northbound
weekend leave Troop journey from Army camps in the Salisbury
Plain area broke down on the M6 near Wigan, Ribble garage would loan a coach or a DP bus to complete the onward journey for the soldiers. What are the fleet numbers of the 2 Leyland Leopard buses, one looks like 205, cant make
out the one on the right. Ray.
Ray, the Ribble in the middle is ECK206E and the one on the right is ECK205E
Any of you guys remember my grandad? leo charnock ... and my dad Alan charnock?
Chris, Just read your post on here, I don't recall any Charnocks at Ribble, but there were 2 Charnocks , Father
and son at Reed Transport when I worked there. Have a look
on the "Reed Corrugated Cases" thread on here. Regards, Ray.
