I used to mate with Susan Grundy when we were at Ince Central School and I knew Janet Middleton in later years. Very seventies' fashions, but smart and feminine, unlike some of the sloppy clothes (not to mention pyjamas!), you see some girls in today.

I'm almost sure the second girl from the left was a twin from Hardybutts but the name was Gannon. It could be she was married by this time. The fashion of the clothes never seems to 'go out ' really and keep coming back slightly modified. The platform shoes certainly date the picture though. There was many an accident with those shoes and they weren't very flattering for the shorter leg in my opinion. It didn't stop me buying them though.
