Joan, would that be Dave Rooney's dad?
From the other pic, the two coaches have sequential number plates - 453 & 454 DTJ, and they also have Duple coachwork. 454 is an underfloor-engined Leyland Tiger Cub, a mid-weight chassis, whilst 453 is a front-engined Bedford, a lightweight chassis. The pic shows the different way the same coach body was applied to different chassis types. An anorak's delight!
