I first knew Wigan in 1947, aged 7 and vaguely remember stalls being along the road up to where the Corporation buses stopped by some underground toilets....it was also the first time I had seen snow.

If that is a Morris Minor parked up, it would date this photo as 1948 or later. Lovely to see all these old photos Ron - thank you.

My first little car was a Morris Minor..I got it in 1975...I hated it then but every time I see one now..which is not very often..I wish I still had it.
