Wigan Album

Attended AG between 1961 and 1963. Loved my short time there before my parents moved us down south . My reason for noticing this photo is because I think it shows my old Geography teacher, Mr Magnall I think; and he had a son who attended AG around the same time. Mr Magnall was instrumental in getting me to love maps. Has anyone else got memories of him to share?

Have now remembered that Mr Magnall's son was called Paul and recall going to his house a couple of times and which seemed very strange going to a teacher's home but was made very welcome. One of Mr Magnall's favourite expressions was "blood and sand" as I recall.
