Wrong colour for the Trotter's van Jinksi. Not many plastic pigs around these days. A lot of the old bikers graduated to these things when they started getting a bit nesh, but couldn't be bothered taking the car test. You'd see them driving about in them still wearing their leathers.

I think its the same model has Del Trotters three wheeler though, looks like a Regal Supervan model to me. I think the Regal vans in particular are the rarest of the lot and have become quite sought after amongst enthusiasts. It's ashame too many bash three wheelers because there are some very nice examples that have been looked after and cherished. There was of course a four wheel version called the Kitten. The best thing, in my view, to come out of Reliant was the Scimitar (great car IMO), but I heard that Scimitar owners often don't like to refer to them as Reliant Scimitars only as Scimitars due to the association/connection with the Reliant 3 wheelers.

Belvoir Court, Off Vauxhall Rd (Thuppies).

I think the road may be Vauxhall Road/AndertonStreeet, the new building St Patrick's School. The houses in the background Hardybutts,not absolutely sure.

I think it's Vauxhall Road and Belvoir Street with the new upside down houses on the right. St Pat's School can be seen just above the shanties in the foreground which are now a play area.

In my opinion Al, the best thing to come out of Tamworth was the A5.

Years ago me and my mate put a V6 engine in a scimitar I

Can't make out the registration number of the Reliant van but looks like it has a Wigan JP number. This photograph was taken in such a position with one of the Westwood power station cooling towers in between the two chimneys. The cooling towers were destroyed in January 1989, and the less spectacular chimney felling by Fred Dibnah was about April.
