Wonderful pic once again, Eddie.....you're doing us proud! But where is this photo being taken from, please? I knew the viewpoint from Lower Ince best, but I imagine there were excellent views of the towers from various parts of Wigan.

Eddie. Whereabouts is this in Westwood?.

It was taken with a telephoto lens ( obviously ) from the Roundhouse garage in Whelley. Check out the price of fuel.

Immediately recognisable when told where it is but, although I know the area very well, it was ages before I realised where it was - the former Mortons shop on the corner of Moor St. eventually led me to it.

It is slightly further down than roundhouse, as the road to the right of the car on the right is Wallace lane, which is just to the left of the row of shops.

I recognised the area straight away. Big difference in price of fuel compared to today!
