Can't find a W Brown who played for Wigan, only a WR Brown, but that was 1897 and this photo looks like the 1920's or 30's. He has the appearance of a second row and a Fred Brown, second row, played 1923 to 1925 a total of 62 times for Wigan, scoring 8 tries, it's possible this is the same one, unless of course this W Brown never made the first team.
