The very nice tall girl mid-right appears to be looking for that cameramans automatic shutter, very nice of her to be so considerate.

Just look at some of these photos from the 1960s and 1970s, the people from the 60s look more happy, full of smiles than the people in the 1970s photos. That's why in my opinion the Casino slowly went to a drugs den, not only wiganers, but revelers from all over the country.

Looks like Ann Murphy( girl with dark hair in a bob) on far right of pic, in centre.Next to her I think is Noreen Booth.

The black guy right of the pic was called Eddie from Bolton. He used to attend regularly. He couldnt really dance but after watchin me on the dance floor, he soon picked it up and was like an headless chicken!!

Of course, I can see Coco (bottom left off centre). He came with us to IOM in 1969 on holiday!!
I bet the girls were in tears when us lads disappeared for a week!!

Great panoramic view of the dance floor! Obviously taken from the upper tier near the Ladies! A great view for us lads to spot prospective girls to kop off with!

This was my era. I can see Linda Cunliffe bottom left with the long blonde hair and the lovely Coco. I can only guess that the rest of our gang were out of shot as we used to congregate at the bottom of the stairs by the stage. tony Byrne, Bobby Watson, Cookie, Harry, Wally, Jimmy Seddon, Me(Sheila Holden) Marian, Linda, Susan, Pat, Sheila Mann, to name but a few. What brilliant times we had back then.
