What direction would that be traveling?
Did the lines get "switched" or am I missing something?

It's a banker Andy.

This isn't Wigan North Western.

The right hand platforms do resemble the old platform 10 and, the train possibly standing at 9. However, the single storey buildings at top of platform 4, I wonder. If this is north western, it would be prior to the early fifties; look at the old gas lamps!

this is the o;ld platform eleven, platform twelve is to its right .platform12 was against queen street wall.note the chimney work of this picture and compare said chiomney with the structure behind the class five in platform 5.
these l and y engines where never great performers, very heavy on coal and water.the last one went in 1951,all blackpool based engines.
