All Saints Church is the oldest churches in Hindley dating back to the 1400 it was partly rebuilt in 1766, a very old church, and has seen Many Many weddings including my 3 sisters

Apologies for correcting the date of the church. The original chapel was built in 1641. There were 3 booklets, each one written by John Lowe. 1.Ashrt History of Hindley Parish Church -November 1941, 2. A History of All Saints Parish Church, Hindley - November 1991, and The case of Hidley Chapel 1641 - 1698. John Lowe was my uncle and was the first Head Teacher of Mornington Road School. I attended the 250th Anniversary Service on 1st November 1941.
