I can't help with the location, but I don't think I have seen that configuration of headgear at any of the pits around wigan

I can see the second headgear on the picture now, at 90 degrees and behind the one in the foreground so I agree with Albert - it must be Golborne.

Yes, that's Golborne, the chimney was demolished late seventies if that helps with the date.
