No left turn out of King Street for cars. If you want to get to Wigan North West station you can only approach from Caroline Street and come up Wallgate. Who was the genius who thought that one up?
Cars are allowed, as long as their taxis. Can't you see they want everyone to use public transport!
Garry, have you tried using public transport with a couple of suitcases?
I see what you mean, Alan H.
You need to turn left out of king street then turn left again at the lights into that small car park. Turn round in that small car park then turn left to go down wallgate or across to train station..... that's how I do it anyway ;-)
You're breaking the law Mary, no left turn out of King St for private vehicals unlesss it's a taxi. Alan H, if you're coming from the Shevvy direction, like me, turn rt at Parrys paints under the two small bridges past the Peugeot outlet and emerge at Gordon Ford, turn left and under Wallgate bridge, as you say Alan whoever thought that one up? He/she mustn't be a driver that's the best i can say.
I think you've got a bit mixed up.
You can turn left out of King St, then turn immediately Right into King St West (towards Coops)
You can't however turn anywhere out of King St West, 'cos it's buses & taxis only towards Wallgate
