Is that the Notre Dame convent on the right hand side of the photo?

Marie. Veronica says, she doesn't think it is. Veronica knew Anne's elder sister, Toosje. Veronica is my wife.

It is the convent.

The Griffin Hotel on the left, the building next to it used to be the Co-op office at one time.

Pauline, Veronica says thank you for the correction. Veronica knew your dad very well. She used to take items to the post office, when she worked at, Bakers Jewell Casket. You also jogged her memory, regarding the other young lady's name.

I worked with Veronica in Bakers Jewel Casket from 1961 .Her sister Maria worked in the sister shop (Winstanleys Jewellers) I worked between both shops for 20 years.

Maureen. I have shown your comment to Veronica. She remembers you, and she sends her best wishes to you. I have only just returned to this photograph.
