was being used as a private nursery at the time.
My Grandaughter attended this nursery in the 1980s.Is it still in use?
My Great Grand Aunt in other words my Great Great Grandmother's daughter taught here 1910 and later became headmistress.
No Steve, its fallen into a shocking state of disrepair now unfotrtunatly
Steve, i think it's slowly being converted into a private residence.
In a sad state now with windows boarded up!
it looks like new windows have been fitted recently but it still looks like a demolition site round the back
Me & the wife were driving past last week & they are certainly doing some works to it as it looked like some remedial work was being done to the roof.
I`m just glad that at least something positive is being done to it.
It really is a lovely building.
Dont want go off thread too much but it also looks like something is finally being done to the Crawford Arms Pub (latterly "Bridge 63") just down the road.
drove past yesterday and some one has definitely bought and are in the process of making it their home,it wll look good when finished.
