I remember my great aunt as an old lady. She is buried in Haigh St. Davids churchyard.

What a beautiful lady..and absolutely beautiful clothes.

Good looks run in the family Mo. Unfortunately, in my case, they ran off! Just been up to the grave of Maggie and her husband Evan. Evan was injured when a locomotive overturned at the Kirkless works and he was trapped underneath with scalding steam escaping. He survived thankfully. Their daughter, Peggy Marland lived on Withington Lane, New Springs for many years with husband Jim.

I'm Margaret's grandson by her daughter louisa and my parents and i loved with her at 33 Longfield st new springs until I was 6 , my grandson only went living in Withington lane after the death of my grandfather. I actually have the deeds to their grave in haigh Church yard.
