I love to look at the man at the back with the top hat and I think a cravat.
Certainly a Football Club. Just a bad "A" I think. All the gentlemen are very smart. Good picture.
I have a copy of this photograph,the man third from left on the second row is my great uncle Thomas Pulford and the man on the left with the towel over his shoulder is Albert E Stamford his brother-in -law.Helen.
Its a football club alright. The goalie's jersey's a bit of a give-away in the middle of the back row.
That's taken outside the cricket pavilion at New Sirs (the building is still there with some modification). They played in the Westhoughton League that season.
