Undated view of entrance to Makinson Arcade, the shops may help to pinpoint the year - Paige (closed), Fosters, Virgin and Boots the Chemist.
I worked in Margarets Dress Shop in the arcade until 1960 and emigrated to Australia. I cannot remember any Virgin record shop so the photo must be before that time.
