Very young! I worked with Frank at Parkside>

Frank worked with my dad either at Mosley Common or Bold Colliery . He came to our house when I was a small child and can remembering that he was so tall he cracked his head on our 3 bulb ceiling light . I was told he took his own life . So sad.

I worked with Frank at Mosley Common 1966 and 67 I was17 I took supplies to the coal face they were developing in the plodder mine his two workmates were called Tommy Kenyon And Dick Sparrow on odd occasions on pay day Frank used to give me a ten Bob note screwed up tight he was a great bloke he was a giant of a man to me funny thing about it he used to drive with the size of him a little blue mini hard worker brilliant 2 years.
