This is a photograph that I took about 1995. I wonder if it was the same day that Raymond painted his picture?.

Great photo! Much better than the one from 'Lancashire Magazine' that I put on earlier this week.
I wanted to throw the magazine away and there didn't seem to be a picture of that view in the 'album'.
Maybe I was looking under the wrong heading - 'Leeds and Liverpool Canal'- when I should have looked at 'Wigan Pier'.
My painting was dirived from this shot Cathy, with a little artistic lisence, prints on canvas of the painting 30x40cm are available at the wiganplus All prints £10 I think thats resonable, if anyone likes

Belter that. Eckersleys no1 chimney still standing tall n proud.
