I left in 1954 and my class picture 1954 is on there too with our teacher Mr Smith.
Hi Ann, Lovely to hear from you. Seing this phote does bring back memories. Like yourself I would love to know the whereabouts of everyone.margaret gaskell lives round the corner from me so I do see her quite often. If there's any one out ther I can be contacted on derek@xzon.info. Speak to you again Ann. Have thanked Kath for sending me a copy of the photo.
I still have this school photo to this day and only just found it today on Wigan World. Sad to see the faces of one or two classmates who have passed away but the memories of those school days and the best friends I had, will always be remembered. If John Bretherton is still out there, I hope he is like still like myself, a vintage biker and to Derek Wilde, hows the saxophone playing, these days? I sincerely hope that everyone else is in good health and enjoy the memories these old photos bring back.
Browsing through trying to find a picture of the old school. love to know if anyone has one. Surprised I've not been pulled up for the mis-spelling of school under the photograph. Derek if you're still in touch with W W have not the puff to blow a saxaphone these days.
