I think the missing name is Brian Nordgren the goalkicking winger from New Zealand.

I think the missing player was alad named Taylor who retired through injury. I think it is a wartime picture before Nordgren arrived. Harry Atkinson went to Barrow and Jim Featherstone and Jacky Fleming to Warrington although both returned to play for Wigan at the end of thier careers

For J Glover, was it Jacky or Billy Blan who lived in Kendal Street. Which ever one was a very keen photographer and I have several pictures of us kids that he took, even did his own developing and printing.I have put some on this forum, I think under "Land St Gang" and they include his two sons.

For Brian B. It's my Uncle Jack Blan that lived in Kendal St in the late 40s early 50s before moving to Pike St Whelly. He did have an intrest in photography and developed his own photo's.So I,m sure he would have taken the said picture.
