My mum, Joan Hewitt, is on the back row 11th from the left. At a guess I would say this was taken in 1949.
I am going to spend some time looking ast these. On the first go, I am 3rd. from left on the next to the back row.
Maggie, I hope you enjoy identifying your school friends and teachers. I would be grateful if you could confirm the year this photo was taken.
I have been trying to work out the date. The nearest I can come to is this: we wore gym slips until we reched the upper 4th. - current year 10 - when we went into skirts. my class mates & I ar4 still in our tunics, so the latest it could have been was 1949. When I have some time to spend, i will go through these & find out who I can identify.

Has anyone got a copy of the 1952 or 1956 photograph? I would love to see them again.
ALL THESE PHOTOGRAPHS WERE TAKEN IN 1947 AND WERE PART OF THE SAME LONG LONG PHOTOGRAPH. I STARTED THEN AND MOST MY CONTEMPORARIES ARE ON THE FRONT ROW OF EACH PHOTOGRAPH. I REMEMBER MOST NAMES - WISH MY SHORT TERM MEMORY WAS AS GOOD!!
