What a memory jerker Brian. First time at what my grandad called ''top corner'' was Wigan A VS Liverpool City. Still got the programme. All the very best.

Many's the time as a teenager I ran around that touch line carrying a massive 5" x 4" plate camera chasing such great Wiganers as Billy Boston, Dave Bolton, Eric Evans, John Barton, Billy Sayer, Eric Aston, Frabk Carltom, Geoff Bootle and many other household names.
That is a very nostalgic image for me, something I never ever saw, that view of Central Park, since I was always on the touch line. Thanks for sharing.
