45526 morecombe and heysham withdrawn this time of year from carlisle mpd 48 years ago.

I think there was about 16 or 17 rebuilt, I wonder if any are still in one piece. This one went shortly after this photo then.
18 were actually rebuilt Peter but unfortunately non survived.45530 Sir Frank Ree was the last withdrawn in December 1965 and scrapped July 1966

I can't recall the details, but I think somewhere there is a project under-way to build a NEW Patriot!
(Like what they did with 'Tornado')

They are building a Patriot from scratch at Llangollen, visited a few weeks ago! should be a fine sight.
