Masefield House pictured here, was the last of the high rise blocks to be demolished. The first was Dryden House which was the block next to Worsley Mesnes drive, which is the main road through the estate. Then Thackeray House, which was the middle block, and then lastly Masefield House. (1991)

I lived in the top left hand flat. 15th floor. My daughter was born there in 1970. Was married to Sam Bass.
