Hi Susan, Her parents were Norman and "Beatty" Holland of 42a, Moss Lane, an old Georgian house, still standing, according to the latest Google Earth images. Norman was a one-man coal merchant.

I remember Norman, he used to bring our coal. The coal house was in the back yard and before walking day or holidays my mum would whiten her sandals and dry them on the roof.

The man sitting at the front RHS is Stanley Gore,my father,he is the brother of Beatrice Holland nee Gore the mother of Margaret "Peggy"Holland. My mother Agnes Gore nee McNulty is 5 to his right behind the children. I am Bernard Gore,cousin of Peggy, the blonde haired boy on the front row and my brother John Stanley is sitting on my left.

From the front RHS sitting, the fourth person is Jane Gore, she is the maternal grandmother of Peggy,her 1st husband was Emmanuel Gore,desceaced.To her right is John Whalley,2nd husband.
