Town Hall built in 1720-23 situated in the Market Place. It was demolished in 1882, and cost well over £2,000 to build in the 18th century.

A lot of the demolition rubble from this building including carved stonework was used as a foundation for the rockery and landscaping surrounding the lake in Mesnes Park.
