I backflush that thing every week. It's still the same
i worked in there in 1972 as a cadet nurse
My wife spent many hours in there exercising her artificial knee joints, she had 3 altogether over the course of the years
In 1979/80 I was recovering from a spinal fusion Performed by Mr M.S Bell,(now deceased) consultant surgeon and found the Hydrotherapy pool really effective in my recovery to walk again. The pool had hot water and whilst taking the weight off your limbs you could exercise your muscles without strain. The lady at the far side with glasses was there then. I believe she lives in Shevington village centre. It definitely helped me a lot and thousands of others
Blimey a blast from the past I had pins in both hips in 1976 by Mr Davies I was 10 I remember that pool very well
I was 12 and had had 2 hip operations and remember being hoisted in this via the hoist when it snapped and I fell in miss George and the other physios where like oh no are u ok I was giggling away and the school on the children's ward which was next door was fab the nurses Brill staff nurse rattigan and nurse willaims
