Picture shows Joe with his 1946 GB Cap. A local lad Joe was a great hooker for Wigan and GB in his day. His wife worked with my mum Doreen at C&As in Wigan in the 1960s. At the time mum got me one of Joe's old GB jerseys which I thought was the biz and an old Widnes No 8 jersey with the black and white hoops.
Joe was my grandad I'd love to hear about his playing days and if really appreciate a photo
