A few days ago a postcard of this scene appeared here. By sheer coincidence I found this painting today as I was clearing out for my removal from Ince. I've no recollection of when or where I acquired it. It is unsigned, so I've no idea who painted it. There's quite a bit of artistic licence used with the perspectives - the spire of St Thomas' looms large, but the postcard view shows that it was further away than it seems here.

St Josephs does not have a steeple, it has a bell tower with two bells open to view, but no steeple.
