This printing unit was installed in 1905 by Victory-Kidder of Birkenhead, so that it could print 16 pages instead of 8 pages. This unit is in the Science Museum reserve store at Swindon, in Wiltshire. Thomas Harlow and Cliff Roper are seen watching the machine churn out copies of the Wigan Observer.
