Yes, Mary, that's your bedroom window! Do you remember when we had "The Pirate Club"? We used to have little books where we jotted down notes and ideas, and I think you once belonged to a "Pony Club", (not a real one), with other girls from Ince, although I wasn't "in" on that; it was girls from Rose Bridge. WE used to have a "special knock" which we used at each other's door so we'd know who was knocking.....do you recall it? I do!

Irene, didn't Sandra Moorcroft live in the shop at the corner of Ince Green Lane and George St? Joyce must have got a paasport to stray that far from home; she lived off Belle Green Lane in Queensway. Last saw her on a train in 1974 when she heading off from Uni to an International Socialists meeting in Leicester I remember wondering if she was going to be Ince's answer to Rosa Luxemburg!

Yes Bill, Sandra Moorcroft's parents ran the "Corner Shop" as we called it, and Joyce Gambles did live where you say. She didn't normally play in our backs; I only really knew her from school. Perhaps she was friends with one of the other girls and had been invited to play.
