Hiya john, your great uncle joe and aunt nellie, is my grandma grandad molyneux, they used to live at 38 Dicconson lane Westhoughton.

Hi Carol, I'm unsure if Great Uncle/Aunt is the correct term but UGt Uncle Joe was my Grandma's (Florence) brother. They lived at 37 Linney St Scholes with mum Jane (died around 1953) and dad Henry Moyneux (died 1911) and siblings Annie, Nellie and John. I just remeber Gt Grandma Jane and I was four or five when she died. All are dead now and only Marion and Joyce Moyneux are still living, John was their father. Joan (daughter of Nellie) is living in Australia with Jimmy Holden her husband. I think at least one of Gt Uncle Joe's daughters is still alive living in the same house in Dicconson Lane. Thomas is still alive I understand living in Blackpool? My mum Doreen, died in January. I can put you in touch with Marion (Alty) if you want to chat about the Molyneux family.

John the little lad is Bernard. He's the same age as me so I'd say the picture was taken early 60's. Sadly Bernard is no longer with us but his mother Edith still lives in the same house in Dicconson lane acoording to my Mum.

My Grandfather's brothers Charles Richard Molyneux and Edward Molyneux lived at 41 Linney Street when they were married 1921 and 1928. Where they related tp Joe Molyneux.
