BR class 31 locomotive (on the back of a low loader) travels along the A49 Warrington Road towards the junction with Clap Gate Lane,Goose Green,(circa 1996)
The low loader & the Loco etc will shortly join the M6 motorway & head south on its way to the Great Central Railway.
These days 31418 is currently undergoing restoration & rebuild at the midland railway centre in butterley.
