The successful team shown with the trophy in 1920-21 season, my Granddad, Jack Critchley who played stand off and lived in Golborne St, Scholes is shown sitting extreme left. The team
defeated Leigh 6–3 at Salford in front of 25,000 spectators.
Broughton Rangers:
Founded 1877 and was one of the founding clubs that met at the George Hotel in Huddersfield.
