Good to see these photos of the trip to the I of Man. I'm not on any of them but do recognise some people. Len Sharp looking cool on this one. We were in the same class.

Hi Sandra, the other lad in this photo is Dennis Seddon a very old friend of mine, we were at this school a year or two before you. I remember you and your two brothers very well. Cast your mind back, the fence at the bottom of your garden where the apple tree stood was also our fence, my mother and yours use to have a good chin wag when they were hanging out the washing.

Hello Walt (north Yorks), Yes I do remember the apple tree and the fence. Is your surname Southern? The gardens seemed to meet up making having a chin wag very easy. I remember you mum and you had a sister called Ann? Our Len still lives in Aspull behind what was the Running Horses and our Derek lives in Blackrod as I do. We've not ventured very far have we?

Yes Sandra that's me, I left Aspull back in 1983 for Yorkshire with my job, retired now, we used to live behind where the Running Horses was 1975-83, Tell Len I said hello and ask how's uncle Eberneezer.... Best wishes to everyone.
