Wigan Grammar School
Looking at the style of dress I would say the early 1900s. The new Grammar School was built on the same site in 1937 and it cost £87,000 to build, with the clock in the tower costing £200. The clock was donated by George Alfred Christopher. He also paid for the Christopher home.

Is there anyone still alive who was at the School pre 1937?
George Alfred Christopher also gave the school organ
He was one of the" founders & benefactors" for whom we frequently gave thanks

the year would be in the range of 1903 to 1907
Whilst lurking in the attic one day during Art, I found the architect's scale model for the school. That bloody organ was preferred to the indoor swimming pool, which was in the original plans. And I still can't swim!
