James, what a pleisure to see you have put these 3 photos on this site, I know most most of the pupils who eventually went to Skelmersdale schools as did I,I was from old skem.
At last we can see close up and in detail the photos and anyone can be able to comment, unlike another site which doesnt have the qualities to match this Wigan World site, which must be about the best in the country.
Any more photos then please put them on, It would be nice if we could put OLD skem photos on as well, as it is so close to Wigan.
Hi ! It's great to find this site and be able to bring back all the precious memories of my childhood in Digmoor school !!! ( not being that long ago of course !!!! ) I can remember everyone on the photograph with joy. I was fortunate to live right next door to the school,so able to make a quick dash when the bell rang ! Iv'e often wondered how everyone is. If anyone wishes to get in touch it would be great. X
