Two photos taken at douglas bank.
The first photo was taken in 1978 shortly after the signal box had been repainted,& the second photo was taken roughly 10 years later from the same vantage point showing the same site after the signal box had been closed & taken away having been damaged in an arson attack in 1984.

Hi Lawrence....Who do the floodlights (far right, distance)belong to ?....can't quite get my bearings from the shot of this signal box.

Those floodlights will be at the latics old ground wont they?

Springfield park floodlights at back of box ,Pemberton caravans to right of signalbox , Access to box was from railway street Hope this helps
