The white building to the left was the Rose Bridge Inn, till it closed and was eventually re-opened as a printing works, my wife was a Sunday school teacher in that old church, as well as the new one later, the lower part of the church was used on a youth employment scheme for a good few years, till it went the way of all good schemes, not enough funding.
we used to have all our printing done at printing works for the boys brigade functions we used to hold especially our news years eve dances. oh happy days!
The printing works was Clarrington Press.
