Aileen, I assume are you the Aileen who lived on Victoria St? Good photo but which one is you? at a guess I`d say your seated on the front row in the middle of the two girls sat on the ground. Hope your keeping well.
I knew a Muriel Sutherland, who would be the same age, can anyone point her out? Her mother had a shop in Ormskirk Road.
The girl in the chequered dress sat 4th from the right on the front row is my wife Margaret(Gaskell).Good photo.

George B I think Muriel is 3rd from the right back row but there is a better photo on the other class photo.

I was just hoping if on this photo that if alan winstanley is still around could identify yourself please ,my reason being that when we started seniors you must remeber there were two of us and the teachers to stop getting mixed up would nominate us with 1 or 2 I was called alan winstanley 1, so you must be 2 which are you alan?????
hi alan the other alan winstanley who was my cousin is 6th from the right on the third row.sadly alan died in january 2016 i am third from the right second row
