It was at the bottom of castle Hill,
A nursing Retirement home now stands on the site

This was 'The Cross Keys' later named 'Thee Pub in Hindley'

I remember well this pub. I had my 18th birthday party there same time as my mun and dad's 25th wedding anniversary. That was back in Oct 1982

I used to play in the folk club upstairs in the 60's.Happy days

And I used to go in the celler bar in the 70/80 s loved it
