I used to catch this bus to go to school in Standish from Coppull, they were popular as their fares were a few pence cheaper than the Ribble service(which operated under the same route number of 124)and North Western who ran the 342/352/362/372 Chorley to St Helens routes, their demise was brought about by the somewhat fickle tactics of North Western, who would alter their timetables so that their buses would arrive just before the Coachlines ones, and take all the passengers.
