Lovely, nostalgic photo.I can imagine the children going to Southport with the Labour Club Trip rushing down onto the platform.

Great photo when Hindley had four sets of tracks. I have a old newspaper cutting of Ince station somewhere, full of familys on their way to Southport. I'll try and dig it out.
I have an old Hindley North No. 1 enamel sign, its a dark red with white lettering. can anyone help confirm where it came from, or if there is a photo of it somewhere being used at a station?
