Nowt wrong with it,nice to see it as it was. I was working at Lamberhead industrial estate then. Since then it's been a costly driving nightmare and it isn't gonna get much better!

Getting on to Victoria Street is a nightmare. You have to give way now. All that traffic banking up behind you. It will be less than five years, they'll change it again!!!!

Yes Tony, you're right! It's also created a problem now on the saddle approach, from the Highfield side of Victoria street, near The Park pub, at the junction where it merges with Warrington Road. Everyone is dodging and weaving lanes; an accident waiting to happen! It was at least safer the old way, as one road of traffic was allowed through before the other. Now they all race through at the same time, changing lanes as they go!

Even though I've driven for over 40 years on much worse roads, I avoid the saddle like the plague! I suppose all drivers have at least one road they hate driving on.
